WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

The moving image has become one of the main communication modes of the century, so for both young people and adults, it is of utmost importance to fully understand it. Film influences how viewers perceive themselves and others, gain ideas about history and think about events happening in the world. There are more films made than ever before and we are sure that it is possible to integrate them creatively and meaningfully into the learning process.

Films can help illustrate different topics in classes, talk about personalities and analyse relationships. you can think about cinema in terms of visual metaphors, art styles and technical possibilities. teachers play a key role in this process

author of the teachers programme

Tāpēc līdzās pedagogu lekcijām piedāvāsim arī brīvi pieejamu katalogu ar mācību palīgmateriāliem, kas ļaus skolotājiem izmantot kino kā vērtīgu mācību rīku.
